Boy Wonder has got me enthused about Indian politics as much as the Grand Old Man had done over the turn of this century. Maybe its because Success makes one look sexy and today India politics definitely does.
Elections 2009 will mark the coming of age of young and smarter (? time will tell) politicians. Hope to see a couple of them take up cabinet ranks this time on.
My Take 3 on Elections 2009
- Urge to Vote - though turnout % is around 59% this seemed like the real "Jagoaree" for the urban consciousness. I am guilty of not voting but I really felt the urge to vote this time around
- Supremos - spoilsports of last LS - eating the humble pie.
- Wonder Boy redeeming himself in the largest state by going it alone
